This song never fails to strike a chord with me. I've never experienced the events she describes, but I have felt the intensity and the new acoustic version makes me go all shivery.

After feeling a bit melancholy earlier tonight, I was immediately uplifted when I went downstairs to find a ton of people sat around in Andy's chatting and planning to watch a DVD. My collection of DVDs I brought has proved VERY popular! We did the mature thing and watched Finding Nemo. People gradually left throughout the movie. Seb made a spur-of-the-moment decision to come too. Should be good! Now I didn't like them initially but I do like the stuff off X and Y. And hey, it's a lot cheaper than in England.

I have lectures 10 til 5 tomorrow and should go to bed. But I think I might have a bath and mooch til 2am instead since I'm back in the sleeping pattern I was in during first year in Mildert. It's only Lit anyway. I can handle lit...
